Laltern Pictures wants everyone to be able to use Laltern Pictures, including people with disabilities.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. This also covers the European standard EN 301 549.
How accessible this site is
- Status: partially assessed. We run automated accessibility tests and keyboard checks as part of every release; a full manual audit with screen-reader testing has not yet been completed.

What we have done
The site works with the keyboard alone (arrow keys and number keys change channel), has a skip link, visible focus, text alternatives for pictures, sufficient colour contrast, resizable text, forms with labels and clear error messages, and it respects the “reduce motion” setting. Scrolling text can be paused. Where the TV frame cannot fit a small window or a large zoom level, the page changes to a plain scrolling layout.
